The purpose for which Acquire Wealth Management will collect, use and disclose our clients’ personal information is central to providing our clients with our products and services.
We collect information required for us to complete the task for which we are involved whether that is for insurance and/or investment products. This information is collected on the investment products and/or insurance company applications and may also be collected prior to and during meetings with an Acquire Wealth Management Representative.
This information typically includes “know your client” information about clients’ personal circumstances, including their financial situation and investment objectives, as well as information about their investments, banking information, identification and medical information.
Acquire Wealth Management uses such personal information for the purposes of administering a client’s account(s) and complying with legal and regulatory requirements. We may also use this information to provide a client with news, event information, and updates to our services that may be of interest to them.
Acquire Wealth Management considers that while a client continues to maintain an account with us constitutes their consent for us to continue to collect, use and disclose their personal information. In future, if Acquire Wealth Management identifies a new purpose for collecting, using or disclosing a client’s information, we will seek their consent before doing so.
A client may withdraw their consent at any time by contacting their Acquire Wealth Management Representative. However, they will be made aware that failure to provide adequate information may prevent us from completing the application / services they have requested us to complete.
The collection of personal information by Acquire Wealth Management staff and representatives shall be reasonable for the purposes of complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention
Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the client’s consent or as required by law. Personal information will be retained only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.
Disclosing Personal Information
We may provide information to companies that perform services on our behalf (such as preparing and mailing statements or processing payments). We may also provide personal information to insurance carriers in which you invest or from which you obtain your insurance coverage and receive information from them about your policy.
Acquire Wealth Management does not disclose your information to any other organizations to use for their own purposes, and in particular never sells or trades your personal information.
Accuracy and Access
Acquire Wealth Management keeps personal information as accurate, complete, current and relevant as necessary for the identified purposes.
A client is entitled to reasonable access of their personal information within a reasonable time, and may challenge the accuracy and completeness of this information and have it amended.

Protection of Personal Information
As principal, management, representatives and staff (“employees”) of Acquire Wealth Management we are granted access to client information and must understand the need to keep the information protected and confidential. As such, when hired, all Acquire Wealth Management employees initial or sign a non-disclosure/confidentiality clause that is included in their offer letter.
Acquire Wealth Management offices are physically protected by an actively monitored alarm system. Other security measures include secure locks on filing cabinets and restricted access to computers and server room.
